Melissa Faye Foreman, 54, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Grace Freewill Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home.
Melissa was born in Phenix City, AL the daughter of the late John Rodgers and Shirley Ann Rodgers. She graduated from Smiths Station High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She had worked most of her life as Certified Nursing Assistant and was a formerly employed by Canterbury Health Facility. Melissa loved life and enjoyed spending time listening to music (especially Elvis). She also enjoyed spending time with her family and some of her fondest memories were swimming and camping with family at the river.
Melissa is survived by one daughter, Shannon Foreman of Columbus, GA; two sons, Joe Doster of Smiths Station, AL and Logan Sanders of Phenix City, AL; two brothers, John Rodgers (Sherree) of Salem, AL and Michael Rodgers (Dawny) of Smiths Station, AL; two grandchildren Leslie and Ethan Doster and many caring friends and extended family members.
