Michael Thetford, 59, of Seale, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Piedmont Columbus Regional – Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be announced later.
Thetford was born on April 28, 1962, in Augsburg, Germany the son of William B Thetford and Ingrid Thetford. Michael worked for Southern Rewinding for many years. He was a hardworking, highly competent, master machinist. He was Baptist by faith and lived a very simple life. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and his chickens. He taught his family to enjoy fishing and hunting, taught Benjamin to be responsible, and his wife what trust was. His family will carry on his Legacy and his memory.
He is preceded in death by mother, Ingrid Thetford. He is survived by his loving wife Janee Thetford; father, William Thetford; daughter, Leslie (Daniel) Willett; son, Benjamin Thetford; three granddaughters, Madison Willett, Gracy Willett, Ella Willett; brother, Mack (Vernon Compton) Thetford; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
