





Mike Wilbourn, 70, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held 2:00 pm EST Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Rev. Rock Edmunds officiating.
Mr. Wilbourn was born July 5, 1948 in Fukuoka, Japan, son of the late John C. Wilbourn and Flora Jordan Wilbourn. He retired after 43 of years of service with Atmos Energy. Mr. Wilbourn proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shane Wilbourn; two brothers, Warner J. Wilbourn and Gary D. Wilbourn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Debbie Walker Wilbourn of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Ashley Michelle Wilbourn of Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Jeannie L. Warren of TX and Catherine Dawson and husband Gordon of OH; three grandchildren, Michael Cole Dempsey, Dylan Blake Dempsey and Elizabeth Michelle Dempsey; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
