It has been a while since we spoke but you were always in my thoughts. You have such a beautiful soul and always had faith in God. That is the one thing that settles me about your passing is knowing you are with your King. I miss you.

Saddened to hear of Babette's passing. I enjoyed meeting her and having her as one of my students at St. Anne School in Columbus. May she rest in peace. Prayers and thoughts to her family.

A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. Fly high my beautiful friend. Even though our lives went in different directions you've always held a very special place in my heart.

Very fond memories growing up as kids with Babette from age 10 as neighbors. The Kimsey kids - Annette, Babette, David and Scott, and I swam in their pool and played together often. I never met their father Major Scott Kimsey, who gave his life serving our country, but I felt I knew him through the love the kids and their mother had for him. I had a huge childhood crush on Babette. She was so beautiful, inside and out. Babette was quiet and kind which was so powerful it drew me to love her. Recently, After reminiscing about fond childhood memories, I reached out to Babette on FB to let her know I had a crush on her as a kid and to let her know how fond I still was of her and her family. I'm so glad I contacted Babette before she passed away just days later. I'm so sorry for your loss family and friends of Babette. Thank you Babette and Family for so many fond childhood memories.

Dear Babette,I was so shocked and saddened when I heard of your passing today. "What?! Babette? NO, I can't believe that!" But, sadly, it was true. I didn't cry when I was first told because I'm assuming, it just hadn't sunken in. I spoke with Regina for a bit in remembrance of you!It wasn't until I spoke to Shannon that it REALLY hit me that you're gone. I broke, it felt like I couldn't control it. It was when Shannon laughed - Oh that laugh!! It's exactly like yours, and I think that's when it really hit me. Shannon, the strong girl she is, shared some tears with me as she also tried to comfort me. You raised great kiddos!!Your "shell" may be gone, but I know your soul and spirit lives on, and I honestly believe you are with God and loving every minute of it! I bet you're making him smile just from that wonderfully-sometimes-annoying laugh of yours, lol!! I can hear it now - it was music to many people's ears, including mine. I miss you so much, Babette. To the family: I can't find words to tell you just how sorry I am. Please, know that you all are in my prayers. I know you all knew how wonderful, kind, sweet, sincere, and authentic your mom was - she touched many lives. It was SO my honor to have been called "friend" by her. I will never-ever forget her, and, one day, I know we'll all see her again!
