My condolences to the (Durbin) Hall family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, especially when they are so young. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35) and it pains our creator, too. Our loving Heavenly Father did not purpose his human family to suffer and die, but purpose us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose (Psalm 37:11,29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26“the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__ Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life" and then “satisfy the desire of every living thing” (Psalms 145:16). What a delight it will be to see them again to enjoy life as our Creator purposed! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

May I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8). Almighty God promises to awaken our loved ones to a world of true peace with no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in God’s promises and for more comfort, please visit jw.org.

To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. No one knows the pain and hurt that you now have at this most difficult time. Here are a few words of comforting hope that will ease your hurt and pain. John 5:28,29 Also at John 11:25 Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life, he that exercises faith in me though he dies will come to life again." At Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) says he will swallow up death forever. What a wonderful time that will be when we will see our loved ones again right here on the earth!
