Mr. Robert Williams, 85, of Seale, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital.

A Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM EST on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Seale United Methodist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Dean Knipe officiating.

Mr. Williams was born in Clayton, Alabama the son of the late John Pitt Williams and Lillian Baker Williams. His family lived in Baker Hill, AL most of his childhood life. He proudly volunteered to serve his country in the United States Army and while stationed in Germany, he met the love of his life Inge Bauer Williams. Robert worked for thirty-two years at Meade Coated Board prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. Above all, he enjoyed the time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his son, Robert Baker Williams, Jr., and one brother Aubrey Williams.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years Inge Bauer Williams; sons Johnny Williams and his wife Wanda of Seale, AL and Jeffery Williams and Cheryl of Seale, AL; one grandchild Megan Ford and her husband Lance of Phenix City, AL and one great grandchild Camille Ford.
