Mrs. Barbara Shuff

Barbara Franziska Shuff, 57, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, after a hard- fought battle with cancer, at her residence in Smiths Station, Alabama.

Visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Saturday, May 15, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm (EST), followed by a Celebration of Barbara’s Life at 2:00 pm (EST) with Reverend Mike Turner officiating. A private interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Barbara was born on June 23, 1963, in Neubruecke Germany, the daughter of Billy Wayne Cobb and Anna  Martschini Cobb.

She was an Executive Assistant for Johnson Textiles for 25 years, and for 15 years with Fountain, Arrington, Bass, Mercer, and Lee.

Barbara was a fun-loving wife and mother. She was a member of The JCs in her early years, loved to be outdoors working in her yard and loved to travel. Barbara will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and bubbly personality.

Barbara is preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her adoring husband Jay Shuff; daughter, Ashley Nicole (Stephen) Graziano; two sister in-laws, Mary Ann (Teddy) Hampton and Norma (Tom) Desilets; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
