Mrs. Dorothy Renfroe Adams, 91, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon EST on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Adams was born September 2, 1929, daughter of the late Charles Renfroe and Elizabeth Faircloth Renfroe. She enjoyed music, gardening and flowers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Adams was a long time member of Golden Acres Assembly of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Adams; two daughters, Brenda Adams Eller and Sherry Adams; a son, Jason Barry Adams; three sisters, Rosa Lee Weekly, Jewel Ward and Gaynell Brookins; three brothers, Ed Renfroe, Malcolm Renfroe and Ralph Renfroe.
She is survived by a daughter, Ginger Adams Hall and husband Sam of Daphne, AL; a son, James Clint Adams of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Gary Leatherwood, Brian Leatherwood (Amy), Brooke Campbell Massey (Brad), Brittany Campbell Locklier (Josh), Samuel Hall (Sue) and Eric Hall (Kirsten); great-grandchildren, Gage, Taylor, Blake, Sky, Landon, Stella, Cameron, Emma Kate, Finleigh and Mark; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
