Angela Walker Newsome left a message on November 5, 2020:
My dear aunt has passed on to heaven; I will miss her forever. She was always a loving hug, a joyful smile, and the encouraging word in my life. I loved her when I was a child and grew to love and appreciate her more as an adult. I always felt better after spending time with my Aunt Dollie, as we call her. She embraced my husband as another nephew. He loves her so. She made my daughter, who is differently-abled, feel loved, accepted, and proud. I will always remember being excited to see my Aunt’s Christmas decorations, as well as her smile throughout the Season. Being around Hattie, “Aunt Dollie” James always made me a happier person and a better person.Yolanda and Arthur, my sweet cousins, I am so sorry she has passed. May God bless you both and comfort you. I love you.
