Mrs. Ruth Allred Lolley, 91, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm EST on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Lolley was born April 29, 1929 in Langdale, AL, daughter of the late James F. Williams and Effie Raughton Williams. She retired from Southern Phenix Mills with over 20 years of service in the textile industry. Mrs. Lolley enjoyed fishing, sewing and quilting; but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, John L. Allred and Bennie C. Lolley; a daughter, Celia Elaine East; and two sisters, Barbara Jean Burke and Geneva Smith.
Mrs. Lolley is survived by a daughter, Joan A. Helms of Phenix City, AL; a son, John Leonard Allred and wife Gale of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Viola Henry of West Point, GA; six grandchildren, Od is Richard East (Susan), Jeffrey Leonard East (Kim), Christy H. DeLucca (Derek), Derrick Allred, John L. Allred (Jaime) and Stephen L. Allred (Jadah); thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; several other extended family, church family and friends.
