Patricia Bell Jones, 87, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Savannah Grand Assisted Living with her loving family by her side.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM EST on Friday, May 12, 2023, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Don Abrams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM EST at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Jones was born in Phenix City, Alabama, the daughter of the late Felix Bell and Clara Tillery Bell. She was employed with the City of Phenix City Utilities Department as an Office Manager and later with Alagasco until her retirement.  After her retirement, Mrs. Jones and her husband enjoyed traveling, to include two major trips to the western states. Mrs. Jones was an avid runner often participating in 5K races. She enjoyed gardening and most any other activity if it involved the outdoors. Above all, she loved her family, especially babysitting her grandson Tripp.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband David Lewis Jones, Sr; son David Lewis Jones, Jr and sisters Dorothy Jones and Carolyn Perkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Kay Duncan and husband Garry of Salem, AL; grandson David Lewis “Tripp” Jones, III and his fiance’ Madison Duncan of Montgomery, AL and a host of extended family members, friends and church family.
