Rebecca “Becky” Grace Keller Tipton, 59, of Columbus, GA died at St. Francis Hospital, Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA.

Ms. Tipton was born August 11, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, AL daughter of Jacqueline Lawrence Keller and the late William “Buddy” Keller. She was a talented and gifted musician who shared her passion and talents with local churches, family and friends. Ms. Tipton also had a heart for rescuing cats. She rescued dozens of needy felines and often opened up her home to them. We will forever remember her love of music, family and cats. Her fond memories will always be cherished in our hearts.

Ms. Tipton was preceded in death by a sister, Patti Keller Taylor and her father, William Anton Keller.

Survivors include her mother, Jacqueline Keller of Columbus, GA, two sons, Andrew David Tipton (Carol) of Savannah, GA and Jonathan William Tipton (Anna) of Tampa, FL; brother, Craig Keller of Columbus, GA; two grandchildren, Grace and Aurelia Tipton ; two nephews, William C. Keller, Jr. and Christopher S. Keller; niece, Caroline Grace Keller; great nephew, Kingston Drew Jenkins. Other family members, friends and rescued cats also survive.

I met Rebecca through a game app, where we became friends she then asked me to assist in some of her groups. She was such a warm hearted talented person, she deeply loved her family, cats and her music. She was also a brilliant writer who kept us enthralled with her stories about the people and places in the game. You will be missed very much by all of us. RIP Rebecca рџ’ќрџ’ќ

I was in the Hardaway High School Band with Becky and have so many wonderful memories of our friendship .
In the recent years we stayed in touch and communicated often about music and our love for rescuing animals.

I will miss Becky so much. We were in the Hardaway band together. We became friends on Facebook years ago. I read her posts, she read my posts. She loved her momma, her family, and her cats. IвЂ™m going to miss you Becky!

I met Becca online, because of a game we both love. She shared stories, her love of music and of cats. She made me laugh and she made me cry. She stood up for what she believed and pushed others to do the same. She made an impression on me, and on everyone surrounding her. She was loved and will be missed.

I,В as many of us got to know Rebecca through a game app...we became friends. She shared her love of writing among other talents; she always encouraged everyone to not give up, she could always make you smile. She will always be in my thoughts and memories of her will forever be in my heart.

I, met Rebecca through a game app. She then invited to join her groups. She love music,В writing, cats, her family. She was always talking about her sons and especially her granddaughters. Miss you Rebecca, your laughter and stories.
