Rev. Paul Raymond Jacobs, 58, of Fortson, GA passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Assembly of God, 8100 Cooper Creek Rd, in Columbus on Saturday, February 5, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Jacobs officiating. The interment will conclude at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 4, 2022 at Calvary Assembly of God from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Paul was born on February 1, 1963 in Columbus, GA to, now retired, missionaries Rev. Glenn Raymond Jacobs and Janet Miller Jacobs. As the son of missionaries, he quickly acquired a true servant’s heart and a sincere desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul earned his Master of Business Administration degree, Education Specialist degree and was currently writing his doctoral dissertation at Columbus State University. This past August was hired by the Muscogee County School District as a Special Education teacher at Jordan Vocational High School. He Throughout his life, Paul selflessly poured into the lives of others. He will always be remembered as a steadfast Man of God who loved with his whole heart.

Besides his parents, Paul is survived by his sister Elizabeth Hanson (Tim) of Haifa, Israel; brothers Joel Jacobs (Recheal) of Columbus, GA and Rev. David Jacobs (Amira) of Midland, GA; several nieces and nephews: Shayla Hyde, Aaron Hanson, Camilla Jackson, Stephen Jacobs, Anna Le, Seth Jacobs, Sophia Jacobs and David Ray Jacobs. Paul is preceded in death by his brother John Jacobs and nephew Caleb Hanson.
