Sara and Bob lived next door to my parents on Irwin Way for many, many years. After mom became a widow, Sara kept an eye out for her and I will be forever grateful for her help. Prayers to all her family. May she rest in heavenly peace.

My condolence to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Sara, what a great lady.. Sorry for your loss but happy for her, being in God’s hand is a great feeling. Being a military wife for sixty four years married to an Army Command Sergeant Major and raising four kids was a challenge, at times, but my cousin, Sara handled it well. Of all the things she did for me while I was growing up, the one thing I remember the most was not funny at the time as I was sixteen years old. Of course, as I got older I laugh every time I think about it. I used her car one night to go on a date and that night returning back to the house she was waiting up for me. As I was getting ready for bed, I took my shirt off and noticed a couple of hairs on my chest. I was so excited. I ran to show Sara the manly hairs I had. She started laughing and said: “I have more hairs on my chest than that.” I will miss her for now but will rejoice when we meet again.

My condolences to Sara's family. I am sorry for your loss. Sara and I went to school together and it has been many years since I have seen her. Spoke to her on the phone a couple of times. I knew her siblings Gail and Lydia and Sara told me about Bobby the last time we spoke. She told me how blessed she was to have such wonderful children. I was looking for a relative's obituary and saw Sara's. Again, I am so sorry.
