My sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. May you find comfort in the scriptural promises at Rev 21:3, 4 and Acts 24:15.

Mike and Anna Putnam left a message on January 28, 2018:
Hearing about your loss has deeply saddened us, but we know that this is far from what you are going through right now. Our condolences to you and your family on the passing of Stuart. We know that it is hard to bear right now, but remember that death is only the end of the physical life and the beginning of an eternal life. We have some very fond memories of Stuart from the 15 years that we have known him and Sarah. Before we built our house, we would go to our land on the weekends and camp out and clear off the property. That is how we first met Stuart and Sarah. They would come up to our land and sit around the fire with us. We had good times with many laughs. Mike has memories of the snake adventure with Stuart, going fishing, and the many stories that he told him about his time in Vietnam. It helped Mike to understand what is father experienced better, because he was killed in Vietnam when he was 9 years old. May our friendship and prayers ease you through this difficult time.

"Slip off that pack.
Set it down by the crooked trail.
Drop your steel pot alongside.
Shed those magazine-laden bandoliersВ
away from your sweat-soaked shirt.
Lay that silent weapon down
and step out of the heat.
Feel the soothing cool breeze
right down to your soul
and rest forever
in the shade of our love, brother."

Rest In Peace, SGT. - SL
