Taelor Michelle Stanford, 26, of Smiths Station, AL, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, at her home.
Services for Taelor will be held at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City followed by a graveside service at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus with Chris Jefferies presiding. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. EST at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.
She was born on April 19, 1994, in Phenix City, AL. She attended Smiths Station High School and graduated from Beulah High School in 2012. She was engaged to Matthew Scottie Austin.
Taelor’s son, Brantley, was her “heaven on earth,” and she never missed an opportunity to tell anyone how much she loved him. She was a beautiful and loving soul. “You always knew how to make a room shine with your personality,” wrote her sister, Brittany, in a memorial post on Facebook. Her brother, Ty, remembers Taelor as gentle and kind. “She never judged or knew hate. She was and always will be my best friend; a true gift from God.” Taelor’s free spirit and radiant smile will always be remembered as well as her unconditional love for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Anita Phillips; and her maternal grandmother, Faye Hall.
Taelor is survived by her son, Brantley Cole Austin, her fiancé, Matthew Scottie Austin, her father, Chance (Amy) Stanford of Beulah, AL; her mother, Angela Jackson of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Brittany (Zack) Godwin of Smiths Station, Erin Stanford of Beulah; one brother, Ty Jackson of Smiths Station; grandparents, Gary (Fran) Stanford and Angie Berg; a niece, Emorie Godwin; a nephew, Kamp Godwin; an aunt, Dee (Sean) Jordan; an uncle Jimmy Stanford; her future mother-in-law Elizabeth Parnell; and nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
