Wayne Hatcher, age 68, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at his residence. Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Hatcher, son of the late Wilmer Evon Hatcher and Dorothy Jewel Cyree Hatcher, was born May 29, 1952 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a U.S. Army veteran and former business owner. Mr. Hatcher enjoyed collecting and making arrowheads and kayaking.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters. He is survived by his nephews, Mark Grimes, Ron Thaxton, and Chris Grimes; and nieces, Missy Dockins and Dee Dee Childs.
